Wild about Westhope – volunteering opportunity (EXPIRED)

SACWG members are invited to attend “Wild about Westhope” on Thursday 21st October in Westhope Village Hall from 14.15 to 16.30.

The meeting is being run by a small group who would like to work on improving nature on the Westhope Estate.  There will be a short talk to explain their aims followed by a walk around the area.

The Big Butterfly Count is a UK-wide effort to assess the health of our environment by comparing the number and type of butterflies, both rare and common (and a few moths) seen during high summer with records from previous years.
