Linnet – numbers have been good this year – this lovely male was at Cleeton
Green Tiger Beetle – The sandy path leading from the marshes to Cramer Gutter
Keeled Skimmer – At Catherton Marshes, nationally and locally a rare Dragonfly
Small Heath – Numbers of this butterfly appear to have increased this spring, following recent poor years. Widespread throughout the Clee Hill area, this one was at Titterstone
Green Hairstreak – This species appeared to enjoy a good spring with many sightings on the margins of Catherton Marshes
Sundew – one of our area’s insectivorous plants. Easily seen at Cramer Gutter this spring/summer
Wheatear – still with us as a breeding species this beauty was near the quarry at Clee Hill Village
