The Environment Agency (EA) carried out a fish rescue on Thursday 2nd July 2026 on a small section of brook in Little Stretton that is drying up. After endeavours by two local residents the incident was reported to the EA and they rescued 17 healthy brown trout. The fish were put back into the catchment further downstream.
