A big ‘thank you’ to the All Stretton Village Show which kindly raised £189.26 towards the Toad Patrol. The monies raised will go towards replacing one of the highway warning signs (unfortunately removed by someone) and to buy equipment for our volunteer patrollers. This is wonderful support from local residents, thank you so much! It will be interesting to see what the populations of our amphibians are like next spring after this long hot summer. We had no mass migration of froglet and toadlets back to their terrestrial grounds as we did in June 2025 during a few days of rain.
