About
The overall atmosphere of the group is very relaxed; members do not need to have lots of expertise in plant identification or habitat management. We learn from each other, from books and keys. Gradually our ID skills are improving.
Each season we agree a programme of visits, to local reserves or wildlife sites, or where landowners have requested a survey. At each visit we compile a list of species found and, if requested, write a brief report with management suggestions. A summary report of these surveys is included in the annual SACWG Report. Recent reports are linked below. We are learning to use iRecord to pass on records to the County Recorder.
